About your therapist

Specialist in Couples Therapy

In order to offer you the best possible help, I have spent my career studying, researching and practising what works in therapy, which has included twelve years at a variety of institutions, including the Royal Holloway University of London, University of Surrey and Institute of Psychiatry.

In 2014, after ten years of general clinical psychology practice in the NHS and private practice, I was ready to specialise in the field closest to my heart, namely Couples Therapy.

I have undergone post-doctoral training in Professor Baucom's Cognitive-Behavioural Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. They are two of the most recognised and well-researched therapy programmes in the world. I've also studied and incorporated in my practice a range of other empirically supported couples therapies, such as Dr Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT) and methods by Drs Aaron Beck, Howard Markman, Ellen Wachtel and many others.
